Faculty Profile — David Mabry: Personal Touch with Academic Rigor

December 24, 2021

When a student enrolls in the Master of Arts in Family Ministries concentration with Dr. David Mabry, they can expect a personal touch with academic rigor undergirded by extensive practical experience in theologically and biblically informed Family Science applied within a ministry context. A personal touch flows from David’s genuine interest in the growth of students as individuals within the program. Academic rigor is reflected through the attentiveness to current and historic understandings within the arena of Family Science. Finally, since the program is meant to prepare students for effective Christian life, service, and leadership, students should expect a strong pragmatic outflow from their experience, which will inform their vocational calling.
