How do I apply?
Admissions (Generic Students)
In addition to fulfilling the Barclay College Admissions and Registration requirements, admission requirements for consideration into the RN to BSN degree completion program include the following:
1. Submit the Nursing Program Application, and it will start your enrollment process. An Admission Counselor will help you with the next steps.
2. Submit an official transcript(s) demonstrating the completion of an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN), with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 on all nursing and general education prerequisite coursework, from an accredited school of nursing located within the United States. Credits from non-accredited schools are accepted only on the basis of sound validation and will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
3. Submit documentation of an active, unencumbered RN license.
Transfer Students (Articulation)
In addition to fulfilling the Barclay College Transfer Students requirements, students wishing to transfer from another BSN program into the RN to BSN degree completion program are required to:
1. Submit a Nursing Program Application.
2. Submit an official transcript(s) demonstrating the completion of an ADN degree, with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 on all nursing and general education prerequisite coursework, from an accredited school of nursing located within the United States. Credits from non-accredited schools are accepted only on the basis of sound validation and will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
3. Submit course syllabi for all successfully completed BSN courses.
4. Submit a letter of recommendation from the nursing program Dean or Chairperson from which the student is transferring.
Readmission
In addition to fulfilling the Barclay College Readmission requirements, nursing students who have withdrawn or have been unsuccessful in a nursing course may apply for readmission. Students must complete the nursing program application process and meet all current admission requirements for the academic year in which they apply.

General Education/Nursing Prerequisites: 52 credit hours
Nursing Courses: 60 credit hours (up to 30 credit hours of ADN course work will be awarded upon successful completion of degree requirements)
Biblical Studies Courses: 18 credit hours
- 9 credit hours included in the Plan of Study
- 9 credit hours will be integrated throughout nursing courses
- Applied Spiritual Practices for Healthcare Professionals (3 credit hours)
- Contextualization of Biblical/Theological Education (3 credit hours)
- Homiletical Theology (Sermons as Soul Care) (3 credit hours)
