Why this matters
Faith and healing, prepared close to home.
Barclay's Bachelor of Science in Nursing program joins professional preparation with a Christian understanding of the dignity and value of every person. Students are prepared not only as practitioners, but as people whose care is shaped by faith.
In fall 2024, nursing enrollment nearly doubled from the previous fall. During the state's initial campus visit, Barclay shared plans for a dedicated nursing facility. The state director observed that the facility could potentially allow the program's student allocation to grow from 18 to three times that number.
The campaign began with a lead gift from Robert and Anita Ellis and has two connected priorities: the new nursing facility and Barclay's Full-Tuition Scholarship.
