About
Barclay

Founded by Quaker settlers in 1917 as the Kansas Central Bible Training School, Barclay College has been called a lighthouse on the prairie: a distinctly Christian community where rigorous learning, spiritual formation, and purposeful service remain connected. We welcome students from all evangelical traditions who seek a solid biblical foundation.

Mission

The mission holds the whole place together.

Barclay College exists to prepare students in a Bible-centered environment for effective Christian life, service, and leadership.

Bible-centered

Scripture is the frame for learning, worship, vocation, and daily community.

Personally formed

Small classes, chapel, service, and shared life shape students beyond course requirements.

Prepared to serve

The goal is effective Christian life, service, and leadership in churches, professions, homes, and communities.

Statement of Faith

Conviction that shapes community.

The Statement of Faith names the convictions behind Barclay's teaching, worship, formation, and service. It remains easy to find because families, churches, and students often need to read it directly.
