A Preaching Certificate will be available beginning Spring of 2025 on campus. Any major can gain practical training and experience in proclaiming Christ and the Word of God.<\/p>\n

Even if students don\u2019t envision a vocation as a pastor in a church, this certificate will equip students to share Christ wherever they work. A certificate from FPI will train students to be ready at all times.<\/p>\n

Preaching Lab _<\/h2>\n

Like the Barclay College Writing Center, the Barclay College Preaching Lab allows students <\/span>to practice before being graded or before a speaking obligation while still receiving necessary feedback to help develop skills and confidence. <\/strong><\/h6>\n

The Lab <\/span>will be equipped with audio\/visual technology capable of recording sermons and presentations for evaluation purposes. This will be a place for students to test-run sermons, class presentations, and speeches before they are submitted for a grade. Don\u2019t let the label mislead you. Presentations in the Preaching Lab do not have to be strictly Bible-oriented. Like the Writing Center previews written reports for review and correction, the Preaching Lab will be open for appointments for on-campus students who need to give any kind of verbal presentation (ex. a book report, Bible study, etc.) and want feedback.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Students can join the Barclay College Preaching Team <\/span>to gain real-time experience preaching and teaching the Bible in actual congregations.<\/strong> <\/span><\/h6>\n

After practicing in the Preaching Lab, the team will travel to local churches where students can offer a sermon. Students who wonder if God is calling them to this type of ministry may test their calling through the Preaching Team and develop innovative methods for preaching to a new generation. <\/span><\/p>\n

Get Your Preaching Certificate<\/span>Starting Spring 2025<\/span><\/h2>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>A Preaching Certificate will be available beginning Spring of 2025 on campus. Any major can gain practical training and experience in proclaiming Christ and the Word of God. Even if students don\u2019t envision a vocation as a pastor in a church, this certificate will equip students to share Christ wherever they work. A certificate from FPI will train students to be ready at all times.6 Courses1 CertficateThe Preaching Certificate is a 6-course program that can be added to any major comprised of the following classes:
