Get out there and walk—better yet, run—on the road God called you to travel. Ephesians 4:1(MSG)
Hello! My name is Marcus Collick and I will be serving as the Kaleo Academy Service Learning Coordinator Intern. I am currently working on my master’s degree with a focus in Pastoral Ministries, working as a paraprofessional at Skyline Schools, and serving as one of the youth leaders for the youth at Haviland Friends Church. I am very humbled that I can step into this role and participate in the work that God is currently doing in, and through, this theology institution. I am even more excited to be working closely with each youth, their mentor, and their local church, as we find where God is calling them in ministry, and how they can make a difference by being released to do their own ministry project. We are called to be the hands and feet of Jesus, and I am thrilled I can be a part.
If for any reason you have any questions, comments, or concerns about anything regarding the Released Project, let me know!
In Him, Marcus Collick

Here is a resource page with ideas designed to help you select your RELEASED PROJECT: How to select THE RELEASED PROJECT
The Released Project is an opportunity to see God use you in the specific way He has called you in your local community or around the world.
Early Friends would call those going out into ministry “Released Ministers”. We want to use this opportunity to release this young generation of Friends leaders into the world.
- Partner with your pastoral leaders and your Mentor in finding an effective service learning project.
- Pick a Released Project that fits both the needs of your community and your gifts and calling.
- Contribute at least 50 hours toward this project during your year in Kaleo Academy.
How is God going to use you?!
