Head Coach: Kevin Lee

Kevin Lee just completed his fourth season as the head coach for the Barclay College Bears. Under his leadership, the Bears have elevated to national contenders. In the Fall of 2014, the Bears capped off an incredible year. After earning the #2 seed at the NCCAA Division II National Tournament in Kissimmee, FL, the Bears finished 5th place with a 16-2-1 overall record, including an undefeated run in Midwest Christian College Conference play and an MCCC Tournament Championship to boot. Lee was named Southwest Region Coach of the Year.

In 2013, the Bears first appeared on the national scene, being ranked as high as #7 in the national polls. They finished the season as Southwest Region runner-ups and MCCC Regular Season champs.

Coach Lee is USSF certified and also has coaching experience with high school soccer, high school track and field, and junior high basketball.

He holds a B.S. in both Bible and Business Administration from Barclay College where he played soccer for the Barclay College Bears from 1990-94. He also holds a M.A. from Azusa Pacific University. He is the current Dean of Student Services at Barclay College and has been married to his wife, Jennifer, for 20 years this June. They have three children: Nathan, Hannah, and Jessa.

Coach Lee believes the opportunity to pursue an education while playing inter-collegiate soccer is a great privilege and is a gift of God. His coaching philosophy is to “respect the gift and the giver” and to share the gift.
