Biking Across Kansas for Barclay College (BAK4BC) is a fundraising initiative on behalf of the School of Graduate Studies. Dave Williams, Director of the Center for Spiritual Renewal as well as the Master of Arts in Transformational Leadership-Spiritual Formation (MATL-SF), will be one of 800 riders participating in this annual, eight-day cycling event. This year’s BAK is scheduled for June 8-15, 2013, and will follow a 500-mile route along the southern border of the state (see map below). Donors can pledge a specified amount for each mile of the course (e.g., $.10 per mile for a total of $50.00, $1.00 per mile for a total of $500.00, $10.00 per mile for a total of $5,000.00, etc.). All proceeds will benefit the newly established Graduate Scholar Fund, which provides scholarships of up to $4000 for all qualified students who are enrolled in a master’s program at Barclay College.
