Student Services

On-campus employment, administered by the Financial Aid Office, is available in maintenance, secretarial, clerical, custodial, and food service areas. Off-campus employment is possibly available in construction, farm work, child care, etc. The college maintains a bulletin board which lists current employment opportunities and provides assistance for students with writing cover letters, resumes, and are given aid in making contact with prospective employers. Students who are willing to work find plenty of opportunities in Haviland and the surrounding communities.

Medical care is available at the Haviland clinic as well as hospitals in the area. Greensburg, which is 10 miles west of Haviland, is home to one family practice clinic, while several general practice and specialty clinics are located in Pratt, 20 miles east.

All unmarried full time students who are not living at home are required to live in college housing and to eat in the college dining hall. Single students over the age of 22 may reside in off-campus housing.

The dorms and dining hall will be closed during Thanksgiving, Christmas Break, Spring Break, and the summer.
