One Choice Marriage Seminar

The Kiowa County Ministerial Alliance and Barclay College will host “The Choice” a marriage seminar presented by The Dr. John Trent Institute for the Blessing @ Barclay College. The seminar will be held on the Barclay College campus in Haviland July 24th from 9:00 to 5:00 with a special couple’s dinner from 5:30 to 7:00. The seminar will focus on allowing families to live a lifestyle of blessing.Dr. Tony Wheeler will be the main speaker. Dr. Wheeler has spoken at events across North America for StongFamilies.com. “This will be a chance for people to come together locally to strengthen and revive the marriages in Kiowa County,” said Steve Teter, V.P. for Institutional Advancement at Barclay College. Teter said, “We see a real need for families to experience a quality marriage seminar without driving to Wichita or Kansas City, with the Institute for the Blessing, it provides us resources locally to make a positive impact on marriage and families.”
Dr. Wheeler has a Ph.D. in Family Life Education and Consultation from Kansas State University and is the Executive Director of the Dr. John Trent Institute for the Blessing @ Barclay College. Dr. Wheeler said “being a blessing to your spouse and family is not a one day event, it is a lifestyle. This event will give people tools to live out that blessing in their home and community.” Dr. Wheeler added, “Families want to be a blessing to each other, but sometimes may not know how to live that out, we want to partner with them to show them how.”
The cost for the seminar is $60 per couple, which includes lunch, dinner, and seminar workbook. Couples can register online. Click here to get started.
