Prayer Calendar
We at Barclay College value our long tradition of faithful graduates and friends who continually keep us in their prayers. Your faithfulness is felt and appreciated! Following is a list of current concerns and items for praise.
Praises
- We are pleased to announce the addition to our faculty of Tim Hawkins as our new English Professor, beginning with the fall semester. He and his family will be moving here this summer from Alaska.
- Congratulations to the Class of 2008 on their recent graduation! Commencement exercises were held on Sunday, May 4, with David Robinson serving as the keynote speaker.
- Congratulations to Allen and Mary Binford, who were named Alumni of the Year, and Music Professor Jared Ross, who was chosen as Teacher of the Year at the Alumni Banquet on Saturday, May 3.
- For our faithful donors who give so generously to the College throughout the year.
- For the grant money we recently received to help fund our new tutoring center.
Petitions
- The Barclay choir leaves on May 5 for its spring concert tour. This year they will be touring the Northwest. See http://www.barclaycollege.edu/Activities/tour.asp for the itinerary and updates.
- Safety for all those who travel on behalf of the College (athletic teams, ministry teams, admissions team, choir, etc.).
- A Matching Gift Campaign was recently launched, with an initial gift of $322,500, for the purpose of paying off the bonds on the women's dorm.
