Prayer Calendar
We at Barclay College value our long tradition of faithful graduates and friends who continually keep us in their prayers. Your faithfulness is felt and appreciated! Following is a list of current concerns and items for praise.
Praises
- A ribbon cutting ceremony was recently held for the opening of Lewis Hall, our new men's dormitory. It is a beautiful facility and we invite you to stop by to see it when you can.
- Barclay students and faculty have returned safely from missionary journeys to Nepal, Bangladesh, Rwanda, Zambia, Haiti, the Dominican Republic and various locations in the U.S. We praise God for these amazing opportunties to learn, grow, and serve!
- The annual Student Council fall retreat was held this past weekend at Camp Quaker Haven. It was a great opportunity for students to connect with one another and with the Lord.
- Enrollment currently stands at 246: 193 on campus and 53 in the Online, Advantage and Home College programs. Classrooms are running over and there is a feeling of excitement across the campus!
Petitions
- Pray for Dr. Glenn Leppert as he leads the faculty and staff in a self study in our effort to receive regional accreditation through the North Central Association.
- Pray that Christ will be lifted high in each and every chapel service, and they every member of the college community will be drawn into a deeper and more intimate relationship with Him as we gather for worship on Tuesday and Thursday mornings.
- We were saddened by the news that former Barclay President, Dr. Norman Bridges, passed away this past week. We are thankful for the faithful leadership he and his wife, Janice, gave to the college and the community of Haviland.
- Safety for all those who travel on behalf of the College (athletic teams, ministry teams, admissions team, choir, professors, administrators, etc.).
