Bachelor of Arts: Pastoral Ministry
The Pastoral Ministry major at Barclay College is designed to fully prepare students for spiritual leadership within the local church. Students are taught principles which equip them to lead both large and small congregations and to provide a godly influence upon the local communities in which they are called to serve. Special emphasis is placed upon the development of missionary pastors who will be prepared to train and mobilize the body of Christ for effective outreach through personal evangelism and world missions.
"There are so many things that I learned at Barclay College. I have a much stronger foundation in Christ and my faith has been greatly strengthened since I have been here. But the biggest thing I learned was experiential knowledge. It would have been easy for me to bury my nose in books, but Barclay has a way of getting you out of your comfort zone and into ministry. It was hard at first, to get out and put into practice what I was learning, but in the end it was a great experience- one I wouldn't trade for anything."
