Greetings From the Elementary Education Department!

I am excited to know that you are interested in becoming a teacher, what I believe is one of the most rewarding careers as a Christian. The influence that a teacher brings into their classroom is a huge responsibility when you understand that your influence will go on through eternity.

Our Elementary Education Department is an intense teaching program with many opportunities to minister and teach children while attending Barclay College and obtaining your degree. Upon graduating in this major one can receive an elementary school teaching certificate granted by the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI).

I encourage you to pray earnestly for Gods leading in your life as you consider teaching as your career choice. He is faithfully at work today shaping teachers to demonstrate His power, and express His infinite love. Your faithfulness will be rewarded, as you will never know where your influence stops.

Plant the seeds and help them grow!!
